The Human Form is like a Boat

An important observation from the Bhagvad Gita is that we Humans derive a variance from other living creatures just because of our scientific, cultural, religious and philosophical advancements.

If we call ourselves 'Sophisticated Animals', we can be considered actually superior only if we inquire about an Absolute Truth. Only a few develop the power of enquiry and reasoning beyond the known & obvious - "Athato Brahma Jijnasa".

Thus we can see a Human life as a boat traveling towards a destination.

Actual subjects of enquiry are:

  • The cause of suffering.
  • The Destination we are seeking.
